Profile

I am Ahmad Rujhan Mohd Rais, a lecturer at the Applied Physics/Engineering Physics Department, School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Enthusiastic about Renewable Energy and Climate Change, I have an excellent background in Climate Change studies, Energy management, Wind, Solar, Tidal and Waves, Biomass, Electrical power systems, Smart grid, and Interfacing clean energy. The general theme of my research is to focus on silicon solar cells and silicon-perovskite solar cells by using a simulation platform and its application in experimental works. I am particularly interested in enhancing the overall performance of silicon solar cells by proposing a new method and materials in the fabrication process which are environmentally friendly. Vast experience in semiconductor-based programming skills like Silvaco, PC1D, SCAP-1D, PC3S and PC3S helped to study the potential of implementing theoretical ideas in experimental works.
