School of Physics Industry in Classroom 7.0 Programme

Another meaningful milestone achieved!

We are delighted to conclude the School of Physics Industry in Classroom 7.0 Programme (Semester 2, Academic Session 2025/2026).

What started with a collaboration with ams OSRAM has now grown from 4 industry partners to 7 leading companies: ams OSRAM, AT&S Malaysia, Bruker Malaysia, GlobalFoundries, Infineon Technologies, Inari Technology, and SilTerra Malaysia.

This year also marks an exciting new chapter as the programme expanded beyond the School of Physics to welcome participants from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, USM, together with our collaborators from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP).

A heartfelt thank you to our Lead Coordinator, Dr. Mohd Marzaini Mohd Rashid for his dedication and leadership. Our sincere appreciation also goes to our Dean, Deputy Dean, industry partners, collaborators, colleagues and all participants for your continuous support and commitment in making this programme another success.

This journey is only just beginning. We look forward to expanding the programme to more industry partners, private universities, and higher education institutions across Northern Malaysia, strengthening academia–industry collaboration and nurturing the next generation of talent.

Together, we are shaping future-ready graduates through meaningful industry engagement.
