May 11, 2017 - A total of 27 students from second year program of Applied Science (Physics), School of Physics had participated in an academic visit to the Institute of Medicine and Dentistry (AMDI), Universiti Sains Malaysia which is located in Kepala Batas, Penang. The visit was conducted at the Cluster of Radiology and Radiotherapy. The main objective of this visit is to provide knowledge on the modalities which is available in AMDI. A demonstration was also conducted based on the acquisition and reconstruction of CT images and modality hybrid SPECT / CT. Students were also exposed with knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) related with the modalities available in AMDI.
