Amateur Telescope Making Workshop

The amateur telescope making workshop is run throughout the year until it is completed. The type of telescope that will be produce is Dobsonian telescope. The process of making this telescope starts with the manufacture of lenses (coarse and smooth grinding of the glass) reaching the right curvature and focal length, coating and subsequently making the base / telescope enclosure out of wood. This activity is expected to continue until successfully produce as many Dobsonian telescopes as we can to be used during weekly night observations/star gazing held at padang kawad.
