Volunteer Program - Bojonegoro, Surabaya (Indonesia)

17 - 22 March 2019 – Volunteer program in Bojonegoro, Surabaya, Indonesia by BRAVO (borderless aid volunteer) was hosted by University of Malaya (UM). This voluntary mission involved University of Malaya (UM) collaborating with local NGOs and Geophysics group from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). One of the mission aims to find potential groundwater for the residents of the three villages; Desa Tondomulo, Kedunglele and Dusun Bunten. This mission known as Water Hope Care Project was conducted by Geophysics group from USM – led by Dr. Nordiana Mohd Muztaza, Dr. Nur Azwin Ismail and Prof. Madya Dr. Rosli Saad and assisted by three MSc students (mix mode); Muhammad Danial Fikri Mohd Rani, Asyraf Ismail and Nur Farhah Ali. The four days mission run 2-D resistivity and Induced Polarization methods. Hopefully, the international relations through this mission with the collaboration between volunteers from Malaysia and Indonesia can be continued in the future not only for the volunteer works but also in education and research activities.
